Badr Essaihi

Artist Badr obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from Cadi Ayyad University in 2015, and graduated from the Prominent Academy of Traditional Arts in Casablanca in 2017. He later earned a Master’s degree in Islamic Arts from Sultan Mehmet Fatih University in Istanbul in 2024. Badr is proficient in a wide range of Maghrebi and Mashreqi calligraphic scripts and conducts research on the history and arts of Maghrebi and Andalusian manuscripts.

He has participated in numerous local and international exhibitions and conferences in the field of Arabic calligraphy and has made notable academic contributions and publications. In addition,Badr shares his artistic expertise through teaching Maghrebi calligraphy at several educational institutions both within and outside Turkey
