Fatma Şan

She graduated with second honors from the Tile Processing Department of Dumlupınar University and later completed her studies as the top-ranked student in the Tile Art program at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Faculty of Fine Arts. She received extensive training in traditional tile art and painted decoration (kalemişi) under leading scholars and artists. Her professional practice includes restoration and conservation projects at significant historical sites and for private collections, alongside independent artistic production.

She has participated in numerous group exhibitions and held her first solo exhibition, Yol, in 2012. Between 2010 and 2019, she taught specialization courses at Istanbul Vocational Training Courses (İSMEK) and has been actively involved in education, seminars, and publications related to tile art. Her works are held in public and private collections, and she continues her artistic practice in her studio in Istanbul.
