Mustafa Duvarcı

He graduated from the Department of Traditional Turkish Arts at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University in 2020. He received his ijazah in riq‘a, thuluth, and naskh scripts from Dâvud Bektaş in 2023. He completed his Master’s thesis titled “The Life and Works of Mehmed Nuri Korman, the Calligrapher of Beşiktaş” under the supervision of M. Hüsrev Subaşı in 2024.
Between 2021 and 2025, he took part in the restoration of the Selimiye Mosque, contributing to the conservation and restoration of its painted calligraphic decorations (kalemişi). He has participated in various group exhibitions and currently teaches calligraphy at Üsküdar A. Hümeyra Ökten Girls’ Anatolian Imam Hatip High School. In addition to his calligraphic practice, he is also engaged in the restoration of historical calligraphic works.
